 《业余无线电台管理办法（2024年）》规定中，对 B、C 类的操作能力验证条件进行了更改（新 C 证仅要求设置 B 操作证类型的电台满 1 年半），同时规定 2024 年 3 月 1 日以后的 B 类操作证仅能操作 15 瓦短波电台，但不影响旧 B 类操作证的 100 瓦权限。同时，这条规定第一次允许了未成年人设置业余无线电台（U、V 段）。本次修订同时提出了“进行操作水平验证不得收费”（也就是俗称的“考证”）的要求。
